Pink Star Walk Event Rules

1 – You agree that prior to beginning training for the Pink Star Walk you have sought medical advice if you have a medical condition that may require attention.

2 – Roads will still be open to traffic; please remain on the designated route, keep to the footpaths and cross in the designated places where official marshals will be present.

3 – Walkers must always obey traffic laws and regulations. Please listen to marshals and officials if further instructions are given.

4 – Everyone who takes part must arrive at the stated start time to hear the safety briefing. Anyone who misses the safety briefing will not be allowed to walk.

5 – Be courteous to all fellow walkers.

6 – The use of your name and image in photographs and on video may be used in any publication or marketing.

7 – Any walker asked to leave the Pink Star Walk will not be entitled to a refund of their ticket.

8 – If the Pink Star Walk has to be cancelled or postponed for reasons beyond control of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ you will not be entitled to a refund of your tickets or claim for any loss whatsoever.

Trafalgar Italian Holiday: 

The following terms and conditions apply to Trafalgar’s Italian Holiday prize in association with the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation’s Pink Star Walk 2018. Prize is a ‘Italian Holiday’ guided holiday throughout Europe for six (6) nights for two (2) people including two (2) return economy airfares from New Zealand to Rome. Prize is supplied by Trafalgar and consists of two people travelling together in a twin room on Trafalgar’s ‘Italian Holiday’ and includes economy class flights from New Zealand (ex. Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch only) in and out of Rome on a Trafalgar-designated airline. Airline taxes and fuel surcharges are included.

Inclusions and conditions of the guided holiday are as per Trafalgar’s 2018 Europe & Britain brochure and will be superseded by Trafalgar’s 2019 Europe & Britain brochure when it is released in September 2018. Flights and trip must be booked by 14 December 2018 through the Trafalgar New Zealand office for travel in 2019. Travel must be taken by 18 October 2019. Departure dates are subject to availability and the winner’s first choice of dates may not be available. Additional travel expenses, including but not limited to visas, spending money, additional meals, optional excursions, insurance, transport to and from departure point, pre or post tour accommodation, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges, gratuities for Travel Director and driver and all other ancillary costs are not included.

Winner and their guest must take all elements of the prize at the same time. Winner and their guest must be in possession of valid passport, visas if necessary and travel insurance. Any changes made to the prize by the prize winner or their travel companion, including extending the trip, are at the winner’s expense and must be arranged by the winner. Prize is not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
