Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I’m once again taking part in this year’s Pink Star Walk but really need your help to make a difference for other women like me. I am a survivor of 4 years and also have a number of friends who have been unlucky enough to get Breast Cancer. Most of us have families and friends who are touched by this nasty disease and I now want to be able to do what I can to support those ladies who are yet to travel this path by paying it forward.
An example of where the money raised goes to is, $40 could fund an hour with an experienced breast nurse to support breast cancer patients in their time of need. For every $250 I raise Breast Cancer Foundation NZ will be able to fund two counselling sessions for a woman recovering from or living with breast cancer, or desperately needed laboratory equipment needed for vital research to improve breast cancer patients survival chances
Of course you don’t have to sponsor $40 – any amount you can kindly contribute to my fundraising efforts will be hugely appreciated and so gratefully received.
