Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thanks to our fabulous national screening program it was picked up early through a mammogram and after a year of treatment (surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and a year of three weekly IV herceptin) I am cancer free. I found the counselling sessions helped me during my toughest times and also making lifestyle changes to keep me as well as possible. This is the second year we are taking part in the Pink Star Walk but we need your help to make a difference. If we reach our target of $250, Breast Cancer Foundation NZ will be able to fund two counselling sessions for a woman recovering from or living with breast cancer. Any amount will be hugely appreciated and gratefully received.
